Itinerary
Arrival in Arusha. Transfer to Mount Meru Game Lodge near the gate of Arusha National Park. The lodge sits in a tropical garden with resident wildlife such as buffalo, monkeys, and peacocks. Afternoon game drive in Arusha National Park. Explore the Momella Lakes area. Look for flamingos, hippos, and black and white colobus monkeys in the forest canopy.

Early morning walking safari in Arusha National Park. A trained armed ranger leads the walk. This park ranks among the few places in Tanzania with walking safaris. You walk close to giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and warthogs. Afternoon canoe safari on Momella Lake. The activity offers a water level view of wildlife and birds. Hatari Lodge provides views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Wildlife often appears near the lodge area.
