Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our representative will transfer you to your lush Arusha retreat. Nestled in the foothills of Mount Meru, you will enjoy a private orientation and a welcome dinner featuring locally sourced Tanzanian fusion cuisine.
Morning departure from Arusha toward Tarangire National Park. The drive takes about two hours through open countryside and Maasai settlements. Tarangire National Park holds one of the highest elephant populations in Tanzania. During the dry season, hundreds of elephants gather along the Tarangire River. Game drive across the park. Look for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and impala. The park also holds rare antelope such as gerenuk and lesser kudu. Massive baobab trees dominate the landscape and provide striking scenery for photography.
Morning game drive in Tarangire. Wildlife activity remains strong during early hours. After the drive, travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route passes through the agricultural region of Karatu and the village of Mto wa Mbu. Optional cultural walk in Mto wa Mbu village. Learn about local farming, banana plantations, and traditional life in the Rift Valley. Continue climbing into the Ngorongoro highlands. Cooler temperatures and forest landscapes dominate this region
Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater forms the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The floor spreads across about 260 square kilometers and supports dense wildlife populations. Search for the Big Five. Lion prides roam the grasslands. Large buffalo herds graze near the swamp. Black rhino remain one of the most sought animals in the crater. Hippos gather in freshwater pools while flamingos feed along the shores of Lake Magadi. Picnic lunch on the crater floor followed by an afternoon game drive.
Morning drive toward Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape gradually opens into the endless plains of the Serengeti. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning endless plains. Game drive begins upon entering the park. Central Serengeti supports high predator populations and year round wildlife viewing. Look for lions resting on kopjes, cheetahs hunting on open plains, and leopards hiding in acacia trees.
After breakfast, drive toward the northern Serengeti near the Mara River. This region gains global attention during the migration season. From July to October large herds of wildebeest and zebra attempt river crossings. Thousands of animals gather along the riverbanks before crossing. Nile crocodiles wait in the water and predators patrol the surrounding plains. Game drive focuses on migration activity and large predator presence.
From Golden Savannah to Turquoise Seas A final sunrise game drive is followed by a scenic bush-flight from the Serengeti directly to the Zanzibar Archipelago. Within hours, the dust of the safari is replaced by the scent of cloves and the salty breeze of the Indian Ocean. Check into your beachfront sanctuary on the North Coast.

Narrow streets, carved wooden doors, and historic buildings reflect centuries of Arab, African, and European influence. Visit the Old Fort, the former slave market site, Freddie Mercury’s birthplace, and the Darajani Market. After the town tour, visit a spice plantation near Kizimbani. Zanzibar gained global fame as a spice trading center. During the tour, see clove trees, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and tropical fruits. Return to your beach resort in the afternoon.
