Our most popular joining safari covers the three big names of northern Tanzania in four days: the elephants of Tarangire, two full days in the Serengeti and a game drive on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater.
You share a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof with other travellers, up to a maximum of six, and the cost of the vehicle and guide is shared across the group.

Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am and drive about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day on game drives among the baobab trees and along the Tarangire River, home to large elephant herds, with a picnic lunch in the park. In the evening, drive to your lodge or campsite.

After breakfast, drive up through the Ngorongoro highlands, with views over the crater rim, and down to the Serengeti plains. Game drive on the way to your lodge or campsite in the heart of the park.

A full day of game drives on the endless plains. Your guide looks for lions, cheetahs and leopards around the kopjes, and for elephants, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. Between December and March the migration herds are usually in the southern Serengeti.

Early breakfast, then drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend to the crater floor for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Look for black rhino, lions, buffalo, hippos and flamingos. Drive back to Arusha in the afternoon.
